On-demand letter

Dear CCHS SBDM,
People want to know is Wikipedia a reliable resource to use at CCHS? Well I would have to agree that it is because through research and data I have concluded that it is in fact a credible source for finding information about some type of topic or another.
We did an experiment were we got on Wikipedia and found an article of some sort and changed something to see if it was fixed right or away or not. We have concluded that 24 of 27 edits were corrected in 24hrs or less which is about 89%. Only 33% of them were not changed.
People are always looking up in formation on the computer and the first thing that pops up in the list of sites 9 times out of 10 is Wikipedia site where it gives you the history or information about the topic you are researching. I have used Wikipedia more times than I can count for research projects and it has given me numerous amounts of information. Most people when looking for information on a specific topic use Wikipedia.
I believe that Wikipedia is the most reliable resource that we have to use because no other site gives you more information than Wikipedia. It gives you in-depth information that most sites don’t give and you don’t get a lot of information as you do when you using Wikipedia.
So you see Wikipedia is a good, reliable resource that schools can rely on to get the correct and accurate information off of. People who use Wikipedia they always give good reviews about it there really isn’t any bad comments about it not being accurate on the information or not being a credible source.

Sincerely,

Brittany Brinegar
